Born in Lisbon, Portugal, and raised along the road. I'm a Filmmaker, Director of Photography, and all-around content creator that loves having ideas and giving them light, sound and movement.
My dad's old film camera and longtime subscription to the National Geographic magazine sealed my fate at an early age. I was always interested in striking images of people, Nature and the relationship between them.
At 19, I moved to Finland and spent the next few years studying, working, and slow-travelling through a dozen other countries. I was moved by the people I met along the way, which in time solidified my passion for documentary filmmaking.
In February 2021, I was the first recipient of Shutterstock’s Create for Climate Grant, as a reward for my efforts in documenting the climate justice movement in Portugal.
Part of those efforts resulted in the short-documentary "Agir ou Perder" (Act or Lose), which won the Youth's Choice Award at Cine Eco Seia in 2022.
